I did a larger painting of this sketch in watercolor and I loved how it hard turned out.  So I had to give it a shot with oil paints. Working with the palette knife is harder than it looks! I also feel the color palette is intense.  I didn’t do swatches before starting this piece. 

I always loved Claude Monet’s paintings and for my birthday PK took me to the immersive experience.  It was phenomenal.   Aside from the various awesome things I saw and learned, the biggest take away was that to create my visions, I needed to use Oil Pigments.  After watching a ton of youtube videos, following oil
