I always loved Claude Monet’s paintings and for my birthday PK took me to the immersive experience. It was phenomenal.
Aside from the various awesome things I saw and learned, the biggest take away was that to create my visions, I needed to use Oil Pigments.
After watching a ton of youtube videos, following oil painting artists, and checking some reviews. I got to work.
Oil paints are incredibly different than water colors and the learning curve has been a bit steep. But here is my 3rd oil painting (1st of 2023).
Inspired from Monet’s Sunset on the Seine at Lavacourt.
Color mixing, texture, consistency, it’s all new and kind of a struggle but I’m sure it’ll come together.
