Lessons learned from previous paintings. I did a swatch painting where I just intuitively painted as I explored how many different pigments and various I could get out of using a limited palette of 5 colors. My goal is to get down to 3 colors but this was such a wonderful exercise.
If you look closely you’ll see that it looks like a Red Man ravaging the earth to avenge the death of a loved one.
I’m excited for this next painting. I do have some skills to build when it comes to working with Oils to get the effect I’m going for but it’ll come to me.
