The Habit Blueprint just morphed into something beyond it’s original intention and I’m so hype about it!
I realized that my habit tracker and data collection pages could be used in a VARIETY of different ways and it wouldn’t have to just be around building habits.
I was at an Art Market talking to the lovely patrons and this badass lawyer was talking to me about how she is trying to be a plant mom to combat some of the work stress and how these journals would be perfect to track food, water, sunlight, uv light, etc.
UM YES! They would be! How did I not think of that?
So The Habit Blueprint can be used to track almost anything and in fact, my twin girls are Neurospicey and we’re getting to the phase in our parenting journey where we want to start evaluating their diet to see if they have any allergies or foods that cause inflammation or distress. We will get medically backed test done but until we figure out insurance, find a doctor we feel comfortable with and all the other things with receiving quality healthcare in this country I’ve decided to track their intake to see if I can catch any trends of my own.
The journal lives in kitchen and I automatically have a pen in almost every drawer so it’s easy to capture what we need. The issue I’m currently running into is when she starts snacking hella hard as if she is trying to make weight for the football team then I’m just like eff it — we’ll track later lol.
All that to say I love the idea of using the journal to track things that are important to you, that bring joy, or foster wellness. It doesn’t always have to be about productivity and optimizing, growing, etc.
It could just be for the observation of living a more peaceful and beautiful life.
